Statement of Faith

 

 A Place For Sound Doctrine & Practice

 

  • We believe in the verbal, plenary, inspiration of the Bible.  (II Timothy 3:16)                                         We use the King James version.
  • We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ.  (St. John 1:1-12)
  • We believe in the blood atonement of Jesus Christ as necessary for salvation and the forgiveness of sin.  (Ephesians 1:7)
  • We believe in Salvation by Grace through Faith in Christ alone.  (Ephesians 2:8-9)
  • We believe the local church is God's central program through which He is reconciling the world unto himself.  (II Corinthians 5:18-20)
  • We believe in a saved, baptized by immersion body of believers to make up the local church.      (Acts 2:41-47)
  • We believe in the Pre-millennial, Pre-tribulation rapture of the church.  (I Thessalonians 4:14-18)
  • We believe in the personal and ecclesiastical separation from worldliness and doctrinal compromise.  (II Corinthians 6:14-18, II Corinthians 7:1)
  • We believe that personal and world-wide evangelization is the responsibility of the church in obedience to the Great Commission of our Lord, and that every believer should have a part in it.  (Matthew 28:19-20)
